I think this is a bad idea. Theres bound to be a couple shitty people in here once in a while and shitty people make bad MSN buddies.

And it destroys the whole anonymity thing.

The daarazu are my good friends and I'll be more than glad to swap e-mails if someone asks me privately on steam or something (more as a friend than a dollar) but I'm not okay with posting it.

Unfortunately something is coming up on my end in about a week, and as such I will be unable to administrate this website for about two months. Seeing as how I am the only administrator for this site this may present itself as a problem. Ordinarily I would just lock everything while I was gone, however you guys are still active and I can't do that.

So, I present you with two options: either you find a new website in about a week or some of you can volunteer to moderate this board (and the others if you want more powers/responsibilities). Moderating is not terribly difficult, seeing how few trolls we have gotten over the life of this board, but a complete lack of staff would be foolish.

So, if you want to become a moderator, simply post in this thread; you can either become a general moderator or a moderator of /a/ only. Be sure to include your desired username in your post. Tripfags will be preferred over anonymous folks, but if you're pretty active on this board you'll probably get modship.

Sorry to put this on you guys so suddenly, but this is pretty much the only option at the moment.

I've been seeing a lot of chatter about IRL stuff and not a lot about online stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't we focus on establishing ourselves online before we venture off into the real world?

In addition, starting any sort of a viral campaign without even knowing ourselves and our capabilities would be a boneheaded thing to do. Viral campaigns are time consuming and usually come with very unrewarding payoffs. Let's face it, today's society is numb to any sort of subtle communication for the most part.

We could probably get a lot bigger payoff doing shit online as opposed to offline. I know many of you would be against raids, and for good reason, but we need something entertaining to do and soon, something that would be accessible to the average anon; unfortunately a raid would fit this category perfectly.

TL;DR: Forget the IRL shit for now, let's do something entertaining on the internet.
